In the webinar “Innovations in Sports Research: using advanced rehabilitation technology” you will hear from three renowned sport and human movement scientists talking about using technology for clinical running analysis, searching for impaired movement patterns, and gait retraining in running related injuries.

Researcher Bas van Hooren explains the results of his study “A systematic review and Meta-Analysis of Crossover Studies Comparing Physiological, Perceptual and Performance Measures Between treadmill and Overground Running”  and describes a study on the energetic cost of walking by combining Maastricht Instruments’ Omnical Sport indirect calorimetry system to measure oxygen uptake, energy expenditure and nutrient oxidation, together with Motek’s Caren to study gait and motion patterns.
